Dự án nghiên cứu khả năng xử lý dioxin của TS.Ngô Thị Thúy Hường (Phó Giám đốc Trung tâm Kasrt và Di sản địa chất thuộc Viện Địa chất và Khoáng sản Việt Nam) đã được nhận tài trợ của Cơ quan Phát triển Quốc tế Hoa Kỳ (USAID). Ngoài hỗ trợ tài chính; các đối tác Hoa Kỳ còn hợp tác trong việc thiết kế, thực hiện, và đánh giá kết quả thực tế; cung cấp thiết bị, công cụ để theo dõi sự hấp thụ của Vetiver.

As mentioned before, the Project on Vetiver’s ability to reduce dioxin contamination led by Dr. Ngo Thi Thuy Huong, Deputy Director of Vietnam Center on Karst and GeoHeritage (under the Vietnam Institute of Geosciences and Mineral Resources) has received a grant of USAID. In addition to financial aid; U.S. partners have also collaborated in designing, arranging, and evaluating experiments; providing tools, and analytical results for monitoring the dioxin absorption of plants by the Solid Phase Micro Extraction (SPME) method.
